BSNL Prepaid Broadband Internet in Gujarat Circle Launched as BSNL Cost Limiting Plan (Detail)

With BSNL Prepaid Broadband Internet Launch in Gujarat circle, BSNL has captured a market with no current competition. The new Broadband plan has been named 'Cost Limiting Plan' by BSNL and is exclusively for BSNL landline subscribers.

The Cost Limiting Plan will allow the user to connect to the internet in roaming with the help of a user id and password. The set up cost is a typical Rs 1000 to Rs 1600 depending on the choice of modem - wireless/ non wireless. The installation charges are Rs.250. Recharge vouchers of Rs 100, Rs 200 and Rs 500 can be used to top up the connection.

BSNL Cost Limiting Plan for Prepaid Broadband allows users to keep tabs on how much they spend as compared to Limited Postpaid plans. The service is soon to be launched in other parts of the country.
